Punam Kangra assumes office as Member of Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission

The newly appointed Member of Punjab State Schedule Castes Commission, Mrs. Punam Kangra today assumed charge at Punjab civil Secretariat in the presence of Education Minister Punjab Mr. Vijay Inder Singla and Mrs. Tejinder Kaur, Chairperson Punjab State Schedule Castes Commission.

Disclosing this, an official spokesperson of Punjab State Schedule Castes Commission said that Mrs. Punam Kangra is actively engaged in the welfare of poor and downtrodden sections of the society. Besides this, she remained Councillor in Municipal Council Sangrur, President District Youth Congress, State General Secretary of the Youth Congress and State General Secretary of the PPCC Women’s Wing.

On this occasion Mr. Gian Chand Diwali, Mrs. Parmjeet kaur both Members of Punjab State Schedule Castes Commission, Captain Sandeep Sandhu, Ankit Bansal, Damanjit Mohi ,Jagdeep Singh Sidhu and family members of Mrs. Punam Kangra were also present.
