PUCA delegation returns from Canada after visiting Colleges & Universities of British Columbia

A 15 member delegation of Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) has returned back from Canada after visiting various Educational institutions of Canada after around 2 weeks.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, PUCA said that the delegation visited various Institutes in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Surrey, Abbotsford, Vancouver, etc. The prominent colleges visited among them were Pacific Link College (PLC), Focus College, University of Fraser Valley (UFV), Langara College, NorQuest College etc were the prominent ones. The delegation also met Consul General of India, Mrs. Abhilasha Joshi at Consulate General of India, Vancouver

Dr. Anshu Kataria while speaking said that nearly 1.5 lakh youth from India is going to Canada every year. Most of the students are wasting the money on the consultants and agents either because of low bands in IELTS, Illegal means of migration, Short cut methods, curriculum selection etc. PUCA is trying to establish links between Canadian & Punjab Colleges so that time, money & future of students of Punjab can be saved.

Manjinder Kaur & Mr. Gursimranjit Singh, Sukhjinder Group of Institutes, Gurdaspur; Mr. Mohit Mahajan & Mrs. Anu Mahajan, Golden Group of Colleges Gurdaspur; Mr. Nalini Chopra & Mr. Chander Mohan, Kay Jay Group, Patiala; Mr. Parminder Paul Sharma, MGDM Group, Bathinda; Mr. Bharat Sharma, Synergy International Institute of Nursing, Bathinda; Mr. Rajesh K Garg, Bharat Group of Institutions, Mansa; Mr. Kanwar Tushar Punj, Sri Sai Group, Palampur, etc were the part of the delegation.
