Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas extended warm birthday wishes to her cousin-sister Parineeti Chopra on Thursday, wishing her a year filled with love, laughter and happiness.
Priyanka took to social media to share a picture of Parineeti dressed in a pink, pearl-embellished outfit and accompanied it with a heartfelt message.
“Happy Birthday Tisha, @parineetichopra! Here’s to a beautiful year filled with love, laughter and everything your heart wishes for,” she wrote.
Born on October 22, 1988, Parineeti is celebrating her 38th birthday and her second birthday since becoming a mother. She and her husband, politician Raghav Chadha, welcomed their son, Neer, in October 2025.
Priyanka has previously spoken about her excitement at becoming an aunt to Neer. In November last year, Parineeti shared a glimpse of the gifts sent by Priyanka, her husband Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti Marie for the newborn. The hamper included baby clothes, tiny shoes, a hairbrush and other essentials.
Expressing her gratitude, Parineeti wrote, “Neer getting spoilt already!” She affectionately referred to Priyanka as “Mimi masi”, Nick as “Nick masa” and Malti as “Malti didi”.
The two actresses have frequently offered glimpses of their family bond on social media. Priyanka was, however, absent from Parineeti and Raghav’s wedding in Udaipur in September 2023. Her mother, Madhu Chopra, had said that Priyanka was occupied with work commitments. Priyanka later congratulated the couple online, writing, “My blessings always.”
Parineeti made her acting debut with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl in 2011 and subsequently appeared in films including Ishaqzaade, Shuddh Desi Romance, Hasee Toh Phasee, Kesari, Saina and Amar Singh Chamkila.
After taking a break following motherhood, she returned with the Netflix series Shaque: Trust No One, which premiered in September 2026. She also featured in the investigative thriller Reporting Live, released in October.
