Former union minister of state for External Affairs and the sitting MP from Patiala Ms Preneet Kaur today condemned the hate speech by a BJP leader Sandeep Dayma in Rajasthan.
In a statement, Ms Kaur demanded strict legal action against the leader for his remarks about Gurdwaras and mosques.
She hoped that the BJP will take serious note of his hate speech as it had hurt the feelings and sentiments of millions of people across the country.
The former union minister said that such people deliberately try to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere of the country and they must not be allowed to go scot-free. Such hate has no place in a civilized society, more so in a country like India, which respects the faith and beliefs of all the people.
