Few days ago college student Pomposh committed suicide. Regarding this case today morning the police arrested Pomposh’s fellow students by taking a one-sided action.
On this one-sided action of the police, today the parents, relatives and the college students gathered inside the college premises and they presented the factual story in front of the media.
The media asked many questions to the parents and the students, but no such thing was seen anywhere in the conversation with any student or parents that with which any caste discrimination with the deceased girl student or any bad caste index has been used against her by any student.
Dean of the college Dr. AP Singh told the media that Pomposh was good in studies. From time to time, the college encouraged her to facilitate being ahead in various events.
Deceased Pomposh’s mother alleges that her classmates did not allow her to become a doctor as she belong to the S.C. community, but in actual she had passed all the MBBS annual exams in first attempt and her internship will be going to complete by next month, so the allegations of her’s mother are completely false and baseless.
As per her medical records, Pomposh was under mental stress from a long period due to her family circumstances and she was taking psychiatric treatment.
During a press conference many MBBS students told that about 400 SC/ST students currently studying in this college. No such complaint has ever been made by any SC/ ST student in the college.
If Pomposh and her mother have any complained they could frequently express the college management, but this never happened and if the college was not conducting their complaint, they can made complaint to the police or the S.C./S.T. commission, but no such complaint was ever made by Pomposh or by her mother.
Due to the one-sided action of the police, there is a lot of resentment among the college students towards the police. They demand that the police conduct an impartial investigation and if any truth comes to the fore, then action should be taken according to the law. We are always ready to cooperate with the police in the investigation of the above episode.
