Ms Harmilan Kaur, a student of M.Sc. (Chemistry), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has brought laurels to the alma-mater by securing a fellowship for pursuing her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, USA, besides getting teaching assistantship of $28,000/ per annum. Ms Harmilan Kaur did her Master’s under the supervision of Dr Manpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry. She published international research paper and book chapter from her Master’s research work.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor; Dr (Mrs) Pardeep Kumar Chhuneja, Dean, Postgraduate Studies; Dr Shammi Kapoor, Dean, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities; and Dr Manjeet Kaur Sangha, Head, Department of Biochemistry, congratulated the student and wished her all success in future endeavours.
