Ms Simranjeet Kaur, a Ph.D. Scholar in the Department of Climate Change and Agricultural Meteorology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been conferred with the “Best Poster Presentation Award” during the International Conference on “Climate Change and Agroecosystems: Threats, Opportunities and Solutions” (INAGMET-2024), organized by the Association of Agrometeorologists (AAM) at the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, from February 8-10.
She was awarded for the paper entitled “Simulating the response of cotton to timing and depth of irrigation water in different irrigation systems using DSSAT-CROPGRO-cotton model,” authored by Simranjeet Kaur, Sudhir Kumar Mishra and Kulvir Singh et al.
