A Jalandhar court on Friday issued a non-bailable warrant against Aam Aadmi Party’s Jalandhar West MLA Mr. Sheetal Angural.
The case was registered on the complaint of Harvinder Kaur Minty.
In case number 63 registered in police station number 6 on May 18, 2017, Minty Kaur had alleged that Sheetal Angural and other accused in this case used objectionable language against her on Facebook.
CJM Mr. Amit Kumar Garg’s court made harsh comments against Mr. Sheetal Angural and it was said that he had been constantly trying to put the case off for uncertain times.
The court said that he did not appear on around 14 dates and even on Friday no ‘supporting document’ was attached with his application to get a waiver for his appearance and therefore ordered the issuance of a non-bailable warrant against him. The next hearing on this matter has been fixed for August 24.
