In a major organizational reshuffle, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has handed senior leader Manish Sisodia the crucial responsibility of Punjab Prabhari, signaling a renewed push for governance and transformation in the state.
The decision, approved by AAP’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) chaired by National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, underscores the party’s commitment to its vision of a progressive Punjab.
Manish Sisodia, known for his hands-on governance approach, has made it clear that his mission is to fast-track Punjab’s transformation—focusing on employment, education, and development while cracking down on crime, drugs, and unemployment.
Declaring that Punjab is already witnessing the results of three years of AAP’s efforts, he pledged to take this change to “rocket speed,” ensuring that every citizen experiences the impact of ‘Badalta Punjab.’
Reacting to this development, senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia expressed his delight at being entrusted with the responsibility of Punjab’s Prabhari by Arvind Kejriwal. “I can confidently say from my recent experience that 3 years ago, the people of Punjab, influenced by Arvind Kejriwal’s politics, gave the AAP a chance and elected Bhagwant Mann as CM.
Since then, Punjab has witnessed extensive work, with initiatives that previous governments couldn’t even imagine,” he added.
“From providing jobs to the youth and building schools, hospitals, and Mohalla Clinics to decisions taken for the welfare of farmers in villages, the work done in the past three years under Bhagwant Mann’s government is unprecedented in Punjab’s history,” affirmed the senior AAP leader.
Manish Sisodia stated that in the coming time, Punjab’s government should work even better so that every AAP karyakarta feels proud to be a part of the party and has confidence in its leadership and governance. Every individual in Punjab should feel that the government under Bhagwant Mann is making a positive difference in their lives and witness a ‘Badalta Punjab’.
“As AAP’s Prabhari for Punjab, this will be my endeavour. There is a unique affection among the people of Punjab for Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann. AAP will undoubtedly win the Ludhiana West by-election. My goal is to ensure that the government continues working for the people and carries out excellent work in their interest,” asserted Manish Sisodia.
Manish Sisodia posted on ‘X’, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Arvind Kejriwal and the party leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility of being Punjab’s Prabhari. He stated: “I express my heartfelt gratitude to Arvind Kejriwal ji and the party leadership for giving me the responsibility to work as in-charge of Punjab.
The love and trust of the people of Punjab is my inspiration. The results of the work done in the last 3 years are now clearly visible there, and we are looking forward with confidence.”
“Now is the time to give this change rocket speed. My endeavour will be that all AAP leaders, workers, and the government under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann ji together fulfill the expectations of the people of Punjab and live up to their trust,” the post concluded.
