Anger had evoked among the Punjabi Diaspora after the brutal assassination of famous Punjab singer and Political party leader, Sidhu Moose Wala. While expressing shock and disbelief over the brutal assassination of famous singer Executive Director North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) have termed it a murder of Punjabi Culture.
Chahal said that it seems to me that it is a political murder which is executed under a proper conspiracy. Punjabi Diaspora feel that the law-and-order situation in the state had deteriorated as in the last two months, more than 50 murders had taken place in the state.
“He further said that Punjab Government should not declare publicly about the security withdrawn from VVIP Leaders which was also against the law. He said that decision to withdraw Moosewala security was directly responsible for the tragedy.
If the security was withdrawn from the leaders or other people then what was the need to shout on it asked Chahal. After the killing of famous singer Sidhu Moosewala Punjabi Diaspora is expressing very much concern about their life and property during their visit to Punjab. He urged the Punjab Government to improve the law-and-order situation in Punjab.
