Newly appointed Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr Ghanshyam Thori today called on the Divisional Commissioner Jalandhar Mr Raj Kamal Chaudhary.
The Deputy Commissioner, who had assumed the charge of his office on Tuesday, met the Divisional Commissioner in his office on Wednesday.
Mr Thori sought the guidance and support from the senior officer with wide administrative experience.
He said that it was a real privilege to work with a magnificent officer like Mr Chaudhary, who has held several coveted posts in his long career.

Assuring fulsome support and cooperation to the new Deputy Commissioner, Mr Chaudhary congratulated him for the posting.
He envisioned that Mr Thori, who has earlier served as Deputy Commissioner in Bathinda, Barnala and Sangrur, would successfully implement the pro-people and development oriented policies of the state government in the district. Mr Chaudhary also wished him best of luck for the new assignment.
