New Delhi, June 15, 2021 (Yes Punjab News)
Delhi-based Inderjeet Kaur, who has been in distress ever since her son, Arshdeep Singh, has been in ” life-threatening ” condition in Australia, has moved the Delhi High Court with a prayer seeking assistance from of Government of India for grant of an urgent visa to attend to her ailing son.

In her petition she has pointed out that on humanitarian grounds she and her son in law , Kunwar Anand be allowed to visit her son who is admitted at St. Vincent’s hospital in Melbourne since 9th June. According to the hospital officials, complete renal failure has put Arshdeep’s life on the edge. He is the only son of 52 year old Inderjeet Kaur who has already lost her husband in 2013.

Considering the nature of emergency and plight of the family , Puneet Singh Chandhok , President of Indian World Forum had also requested the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to facilitate and extend all due assistance to the family at the highest level as Arshdeep Singh is an Indian citizen as government is duty bound to assist any of it citizen in distress .

As her earlier requests to the Ministry of External Affairs , Government of India and the Australian High Commission failed to elicit positive result, she said in her petition that the matter be treated on priority as the life of her son was at stake .

Gurinder Pal Singh , the counsel for the family further informed that petition is to be listed before the court of Honorable Mr Justice Navin Chawla on 16th June.
