Haryana to celebrate 400th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur in a grand manner on April 24

The 400th Prakash Utsav of ‘Hind ki Chadar’ Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji will be celebrated in a grand manner at a State Level Programme being organized on the historic land of Panipat on April 24, 2022. High level preparations are going on for the successful organization of the programme. A unique pandal is being built for the seating of 1.5 to 2 lakh sangat on an area of 25 acres.

Organizing Committee Member and Karnal MP, Sh. Sanjay Bhatia said in the meeting that not only from across the country and the state, but sangat will be reaching from abroad as well. Invitations are being sent for this continuously. To protect from heat and rain, a pandal is being made with tents of German technology. Sri Guru Granth Sahib will be illuminated in the main hall. In the same hall, arrangements have been made for the seating of sants and mahatmas. Work is going on day and night at the venue under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh. Manohar Lal.

Member of Parliament, Sh. Sanjay Bhatia informed that the entrance of the Programme Venue is being given a grand look and will give a celestial look. Colorful lights are being installed around the gate being made of white and gold colours. A large number of Sangat are flocking to see this gate.

Sangat reaching for service even before the start of the ceremony
Sh. Sanjay Bhatia said that not only in Panipat but in other districts, wherever the devotees are getting information regarding this programme, great enthusiasm is being seen among them. The programme will start on April 24 at 9 am but the sangat has already started reaching the venue in Panipat for attending the service.

World famous ragi and dhadi will reach the programme
The MP informed that world famous Ragi and Dhadi will reach on the occasion of 400th Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji. The head of the sect, Ragi Bhai Chamanjit Singh Ji Lal, Bhai Balwinder Singh Rangeela Ji, Bhai Davinder Singh Sodhi Ji, Bhai Gagandeep Singh from Sri Ganganagar will participate on this occasion. At the same time, Dhadi Bhai Nirmal Singh Noor ji will also be part of Amritmayi Kirtan and Gurumat discourses with Guru History.

Arrangements have also been made to tie a turban
Sh. Bhatia informed that arrangements have also been made to tie a turban at the venue. Apart from this, two Joda houses will be built as soon as you enter through the gate. Langar will be arranged on both sides of the pandal. Here thousands of devotees will be able to eat Guru’s langar on both sides simultaneously.

Exhibition depicting the sacrifice of the gurus
Sh. Sanjay Bhatia said that an exhibition will also be organized at the venue keeping in mind that our coming generations should learn about the sacrifices of the Gurus. It will depict the great sacrifices of all the Sikh Gurus. This will inspire the youth and every section of the society.
