The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has constituted a 5 member committee for smooth conduct of celebrations for 400th Prakash Purab of Gurj Tegh Bahadaur Sahib ji.
Disclosing this in a statement released here today, DSGMC President S. Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary S. Jagdeep Singh Kahlon said that this committee will handle all types of work related with celebrations and two programme being organized by Government of India on the occasion at Red Fort.
They said that DSGMC will extend every cooperation to Government of India regarding splendid celebrations. They said that this decision has been taken in meeting of the Executive Board of DSGMC held today.
5 Member committee includes S. Harvinder Singh KP (Sr. Vice President, DSGMC), S. Atma Singh Lubana (Jr. Vice President, DSGMC), S. Jasmain Singh Noni (Joint Secretary, DSGMC), S. Gurmeet Singh Bhatia (Executive Member, DSGMC) and S. S.B. Singh (Honorary Chartered Accountant). Apart from them DGM accounts S. Sukhvinder Singh will assist them.
They also authorized S. Harvinder Singh KP, Sr. Vice President and S. Jasmain Singh Noni, Joint Secretary, DSGMC to sign Surety Bond or any such document required to be furnished with Ministry of Culture for the said program.
It is worth mentioning here that Government of India is hosting two day programme at Red Fort on April 20 and 21 regarding 400th Prakash Purab celebrations. On first day April 20 Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah and on the second day Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will be chief guests of the event.
