Navjivini School of Special Education, Sular, Patiala, celebrated its 46th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and fervour. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann, whose presence added dignity and inspiration to the event.
She said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has great compassion for special children and has often celebrated his birthday by coming to Nav Jeevani School.”
Among the distinguished guests present were Narinder Kaur Bharaaj (MLA Sangrur), Ajeetpal Singh Kohli (MLA Patiala), Chetan Singh Jouramajra (MLA Samana), Harpal Juneja (Chairman PRTC), Tejinder Mehta (Chairman Planning Board) and renowned environmentalist Bhagwan Dass Juneja. All board members of Navjivini School of Special Education were also present on the occasion.
The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial flag-off by the Chief Guest, followed by an impressive March Past by the children with special needs. The sports events then began with great zeal and participation. Key attractions included Hurdle Jump, Collect the Rings, Dupatta Race, and Tug of War, showcasing the enthusiasm, abilities, and sportsmanship of the children.
Mrs. Sarabjeet Kaur Sandhu, Secretary of Navjivini School of Special Education, presented a brief overview of the institution, highlighting its mission, achievements, and continued commitment to empowering children with special needs.
The winners of various events were felicitated with prizes by the distinguished guests, encouraging and motivating the participants. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Narinder Kaur Bharaaj, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, participants, staff, and supporters for making the event a grand success.
The celebration reflected Navjivini’s unwavering dedication to inclusion, empowerment, and holistic development of children with special needs.
