Former member of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) and President of Dashmesh Sewa Society (Regd.) Mr Inder Mohan Singh informed the Press Media that Dashmesh Sewa Society recently in Press Club of India welcomed Mr Jagmohan Singh Barhok, Senior journalist who has been honored with ‘Media Excellence Award-2022 by ‘All India Achiever Conference in a function held on September 24, 2022 in Delhi’s Le-Meridian Hotel.
He said that as per information received, Mr Barhok is first senior Sikh journalist who has been conferred Media Excellence Award by this Organization since its inception during the last 33 years. Mr Inder Mohan Singh said that All India Achiever Conference constituted in the year 1989 under the patronship of Mr Abhishek Bachan is involved in honoring the senior journalists living in India and abroad with media awards every year.
He said that Mr. Barhok is a senior journalist who is actively involved for the last more than 5 decades to highlight the activities of Bollywood and other hot topics in India and abroad through his bold Columns and Articles. While giving other information, Mr Inder Mohan Singh said that Mr Jagmohan Singh Barhok got inspiration from his late father Mr. Amrit Singh Barhok, who was also a renowned senior journalist apart from a senior level Banker.
President of Society Mr Inder Mohan Singh said that Dashmesh Sewa Society actively involved in the religious and Society affairs will make all due efforts to honor the renowned Sikh personalities attached with the social activities.
In this welcome function, apart from other General Secretary Kulwinder Singh Advocate, Vice-President Kirandeep Singh Anand, Secretary Varinder Singh Nagi, Treasurer Manjit Singh, Executive Member Dr. Vani Singh of the Society and Navdeep Kaur wife of Jagmohan Singh Barhok were present.
