Covid-19 Wednesday shattered Punjab with 8 deaths and 230 new positive cases.
Four people lost lives to Corona in Jalandhar, 2 in Amritsar and one each in Kapurthala and Sangrur. Eight deaths have taken the death toll in the state till now to 113.
The state reported 230 new positive cases today taking the total tally of positive cases to 4627 even as 3099 people were reported cured of Corona.
1415 patients are undergoing treatment in different ‘Isolation Centres’ in the state. 18 out of these are on Oxygen while six have been put on Ventilator support.
Maximum 64 positive cases were reported from Sangrur today. Jalandhar reported 43 new cases, while Muktsar had 33 and Ludhiana 27 new cases. Kapurthala and Patiala reported 9 cases each, Pathankot 7 and Bathinda six.
