Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) spokesperson Malwinder Singh Kang said that AAP Punjab affairs co-in-charge Raghav Chadha had already exposed sand mafia in Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s constituency Chamkaur Sahib. He said that Captain, Channi and other congress leaders gave patronage to the mafias set up by Badal family and helped them flourish. There is no mafia in Punjab today where Bikram Majithia and Badal family are not associated.
Malwinder Kang said that AAP is saying from the day one that CM Channi himself is the biggest patronage of sand mafia in Punjab. He said Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia and Badal family are close friends of CM Channi’s brother Manmohan Singh, and today Bikram Majithia is naming him in sand mafia, whereas they are the ones who saved Manmohan Singh in infamous city centre scam.
Addressing the media here, AAP leader said that today, Bikram Majithia proved that Akali and Congress, both parties are taking turns to loot Punjab, its exchequer and natural resources. First Akalis and Badal family introduced every mafia in Punjab and then Captain and Channi helped these mafias to augment.
He added that Aam Aadmi Party has already said that Channi is a fake common man, because no common man has 10 crores of cash lying in their homes or wear Rolex watches worth 12 lakh. He said that ED raids proved that even the so called ‘poor leader’ of theses traditional political parties have crores of rupees lying in their houses. Now that the real faces of all these political families have come to fore, they’ll no longer be able to mislead the people of Punjab.
