During a meeting held today at the residence of CKD President S. Nirmal Singh, CKD Educational Committee decides to set up Free CKD Center for Competitive Examinations for the preparation of Recruitment Examinations of Sub Inspectors and Constables in Punjab Police Department -2021.
It is decided to provide free physical screening test training to the children in this center as well as free coaching by skilled and experienced teachers for the preparation of competitive examinations.
The registration of candidates in this regard is starting from 12th July, 2021 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at CKD Institute of Management and Technology, Amritsar and the students will be selected after a interview by a three members committee.
President S. Nirmal Singh while addressing a meeting said that sometimes deserving students cannot fulfill their dream of occupying good positions just because of lack of financial facilities.
So money should not be an obstacle for their bright future. For the reason, CKD is taking initiative through this center to take the children to their future destinations and special efforts are being made by CKD Educational Committee to achieve this goal.
During the meeting, Educational Committee Honorary Secretary Dr. Sarabjit Singh Chhina said that in view of covid-19 instructions, classes would be conducted online at present, however it would be shifted offline as soon as the government releases the permission for the same.
But the physical training of the candidates will be conducted by the experts on a daily basis at Sri Guru Harkrishan International School, Ranjit Avenue. In the meeting , CKD President S. Nirmal Singh, CKD Schools Chairman S. Bhag Singh Ankhi, Honorary Secretary, Educational Committee Dr. Sarabjit Singh Chhina, Members Prof. Bhupinder Singh Sethi, Prof. Dr. Joginder Singh Arora, S. Jaspal Singh Dhillon, Director Education Dr. Dharamvir Singh, Principal Rajiv Mahajan, S. Baldev Singh Sandhu, Prof. Jaideep Singh and other members were present.
