The exhibition highlighting the life and philosophy of Guru Nanak and the relevance of his teachings to the modern world and for all communities is in Bedford.
SEVA Trust UK, a Bedford based charity and London based organisation Connect With your Roots jointly coordinated to bring the exhibition to East of England, supported by the Community Wing of HCI, London.
Chairman of SEVA Trust UK, Charan Sekhon said ‘This is a unique educational exhibition on the life & teachings of Guru Nanak containing 21 HD prints taken from rare paintings and ancient books taken from different historic exhibition centres and libraries in India and Pakistan.
Each photo contains explanatory notes in English and this exhibition represents the key messages of equality, seva (selfless service), oneness and the three pillars of Sikhism which is; Naam Japna (focus of God), Kirat Karni (honest living) and Vand Chakna (sharing with others).
Due to COVID19 restrictions the exhibition did to not cover many towns but now things have improved and we are working closely with community organisations & faith groups of East of England counties to take this great exhibition to many more towns as per details below. I would like to thank everyone for supporting this initiative’, said Charan.

21 March to 4 April – Gurdwara Sahib & Ramgarhia Sikh Society, Milton Keyens
4 – 30 April, Northampton (TBC)
May onwards – Luton, Cambridge, Norwich & Ipwich.
