Singer-composer Amaal Mallik has expressed concern over the firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai, questioning the city’s safety and urging authorities to ensure the actor’s security.
Taking to social media, Amaal shared a message of support for Tiger, describing him as one of the kindest people he knows and expressing disbelief that the actor had to face such an incident.
“Tiger has entertained every generation since his debut and I can’t understand why someone who has never knowingly wronged anyone, and is one of the kindest people I know, has to go through this,” he wrote.
Reassuring the actor of his support, Amaal added, “Please take care, my bro. You know I’m always with you.”
The singer-composer also urged Tiger to prioritise his family during the difficult period. Tagging Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he called on the authorities to take the necessary steps to ensure the actor’s safety.
“What the hell is happening in Mumbai? Please ensure his safety,” Amaal wrote.
The firing reportedly took place on October 18 outside a football club near Pushpa Narsee Park in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Tiger escaped without gunshot injuries, while his driver and an autorickshaw driver sustained injuries, according to reports.
The incident has prompted reactions from members of the entertainment industry, with several celebrities voicing concern over public safety and expressing solidarity with the actor.
Singer Mika Singh also raised concerns over security in Mumbai, saying the city had long been regarded as one of India’s safest places, particularly for women travelling or walking late at night.
Mika urged the government and concerned authorities to take stronger action and ensure that residents could move around the city without fear.
