BJP National Secretary and Rajouri Garden MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa today thanked Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah for constitution of Special Investigation Team (SIT) for re-investigation of closed cases of 1984 Sikh genocide which has ultimately led to conviction of Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in second case in which Jaswant Singh and his son Tarundeep Singh were murdered during Sikh genocide.
In a statement released here today, Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that this order of Court of conviction of Sajjan Kumar has given a big relief to Sikh community. He said that this decision has come only due to big decision of NDA government led by PM Modi and HM Amit Shah that this investigation was done properly.
He said that earlier during successive Congress governments what to talk of Justice for Sikh community, Gandhi Family and the Congress party honoured these butchers with plum posts of Cabinet Minister, Member Parliament, MLA and other prominent posts for killing of Sikhs.
He said that now after 41 years we have started getting justice. He also hoped that in days to come other Congress leaders including Jagdish Tytler, Kamalnath and other guilty will also be convicted for their direct involvement in 1984 Sikh Genocide. He also reaffirmed his commitment to not to rest till all the guilty are sent behind bars.
It is worth mentioning here that this conviction has came in FIR No 458/91 Police Station Saraswati Nagar u/s 147, 148, 149, 302, 308, 323, 395,397, 427, 436 and 440 IPC.
