Tricity’s twenty three year old Prakhar Gupta cleared both groups of his CA final examination in his first attempt as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today announced the results of the CA final and intermediate exams, which they had conducted in May this year.
Prakhar, who lives in Mohali, secured distinction in 4 out of 6 subjects and attained an aggregrate of 68%. A bright student since the school days, he had previously also cleared CA foundation (CA entrance) and IPCC exam (CA intermediate) in his first attempt.
An elated Prakhar, who likes to read, travel and watch & play cricket in his free time, said, “My joy knows no limits today as all my hard work over the years has given me the desired result.
I had made a lot of sacrifices for my dream and to see it come true is best feeling in the world. I would like to dedicate it to my mother for her constant support and to my father for his calm guidance throughout my preparation.”
Prakhar’s mother Mrs. Sadhana Gupta is a housewife and his father Mr. L.C Gupta is a qualified chartered accountant since 1997, and is currently working with IPL franchise Punjab Kings as their Chief Financial Officer.
Sharing his joy, Prakhar’s father Mr. L.C Gupta said, “As a father, it is a very emotional moment for me. It is hard for me to express in words the happiness I am feeling today. We are extremely proud of our son’s achievements and were fully confident that he will clear the exam as he had sincerely prepared for the exams with full focus.”
