Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KCVAS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Brampton Georgetown Animal Hospital, a renowned private Hospital in Brampton, here today. The MoU was signed by Dr. Harish Verma, Principal KCVAS and Dr. Atul Pakhawala from Georgetown Animal Hospital as the signing ceremony was witnessed by Dr. SK Nagpal, Managing Director, KCVAS and Dr. PN Dwivedi.
Dr.Verma said this international partnership will bring numerous benefits including Enhanced educational and research opportunities for students and faculty and they will gain access to advanced educational resources and knowledge across borders.
“Shared expertise and knowledge will lead to the development of innovative solutions for common challenges in veterinary science and pet animals”, said he adding the collaboration will bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application in veterinary care on a global scale especially for companion animals.
Dr.Nagpal said this significant milestone in the journey towards advancing veterinary science and pet care and the potential of this international collaboration promises a positive impact on the veterinary fraternity and animal owners. The partnership aims to foster mutual growth between the two institutions by promoting awareness, teaching, and treatment related activities.
The MoU also strives towards joint educational programs that may benefit faculty, students, pet owners, and stakeholders from both sides. KCVAS looks forward to the fruitful outcome of this collaboration and the advancements it will bring to the field of veterinary science, said Dr. Verma, Principal and revealed that signed MoU has three years duration extendable to five years.
