Actress and reality show contestant Rhiti Tiwari has opened up about her Bigg Boss 20 journey, including the controversies she faced inside the house, and revealed how her father, actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, reacted after watching her stint on the show.
Recently evicted from the reality show, Rhiti said her father was proud of the transformation he saw in her during her time inside the Bigg Boss house.
“I talked to him, and his reaction was just like any father’s reaction. He said, ‘I am proud of you. You brought out such a transformation in yourself, which was probably inside you for a long time,’” Rhiti said.
According to her, Manoj Tiwari also felt that she had entered the house and done everything she wanted to do. The experience, she added, helped her recognise both her strengths and areas where she needed to improve.
“He also felt that I had gone there and done whatever I wanted in that house. I think every person has certain things they want to change or areas where they can do better. Going there, I realised what I can do better and what I don’t want inside me,” she said.
Rhiti also recalled advice from her mother, who encouraged her not to allow emotions to control her decisions.
“My mom has always told me, ‘Don’t let your emotions control your mind.’ Whatever happened to me in this house, I went there with certain shortcomings, and I will change. I will improve,” she said.
Rhiti’s stint on Bigg Boss 20 was marked by controversy, particularly after a confrontation during a diss task involving Qazi Touqeer and Uditi Singh. Her use of inappropriate language during the task became a major talking point inside the house.
The incident saw Qazi take a strong stand for Uditi and confront Rhiti over her conduct. Salman Khan subsequently reprimanded Rhiti and told her that her behaviour during the task had crossed a line.
During the conversation, Rhiti was also reminded that her father had previously participated in Bigg Boss and maintained a calm demeanour during his stint on the show.
Despite the controversies, Rhiti said she now views her Bigg Boss 20 experience as an opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth. She acknowledged that she entered the house with certain shortcomings and believes the experience has helped her identify areas she wants to work on.
