Quetta, October 5, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for an attack on a Pakistan Frontier Corps (FC) camp in Washuk district, alleging that 18 personnel were killed and several others injured.

According to a statement attributed to BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the attack took place on October 1 at an FC 58 Wing camp in Gorinder, in the Mashkel area. The group claimed that fighters from its newly formed female unit, the Karima Armed Assault Division (KAAD), carried out the operation jointly with members of its Qurban Unit.

The BLF claimed its fighters surrounded the camp from multiple directions before launching an assault with rockets, grenade launchers and other weapons.

The group further alleged that a Pakistani military reinforcement convoy sent to the area was also attacked, resulting in additional casualties. It claimed that bodies of personnel killed in the operation were later transported by helicopter to Panjgur and accused the Pakistani military of withholding casualty figures and the identities of those killed.

The BLF highlighted the reported involvement of KAAD, which was recently announced by the group and named after late Baloch political activist Kareema Baloch.

The claims come amid reports of intensified attacks by Baloch armed groups against Pakistani military and police targets across Balochistan.

Last month, the BLF had also claimed that nine Pakistani military personnel were killed in attacks involving KAAD fighters.

According to the group’s earlier statement, six personnel were allegedly killed and several injured when KAAD fighters attacked a three-vehicle Quick Response Force convoy on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor highway near Jusak in Turbat on September 22. The BLF said its Qurban Unit supported the operation and helped fighters withdraw after Pakistani forces attempted to surround them.

The group also claimed that several military vehicles were damaged and that a Qurban Unit fighter identified as Chakar Murad, alias Dileep Jan, was killed in the clash.

The BLF further claimed that KAAD fighters established blockades at three locations on the Quetta-Karachi highway in Manguchar tehsil of Kalat district. It alleged that two Pakistani military personnel were killed when forces travelling from Manguchar bazaar in an armoured vehicle and two other vehicles came under attack.

The latest casualty claims could not be independently verified.
