Madhya Pradesh IAS Reshuffle: Senior Officers Shifted Across Revenue, Welfare and Key Corporations

The Madhya Pradesh General Administration Department has issued a fresh round of transfer and posting orders for Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, bringing changes across revenue administration, welfare departments, public sector corporations and mission-mode programmes.

Among the major changes, Anil Suchari, a 2006-batch IAS officer serving as Commissioner of Sagar Division, has been appointed Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Warehouse Corporation in Bhopal. The post has been declared equivalent to the rank of Secretary to the state government.

Dilip Kumar, a 2008-batch officer, will replace Suchari as Commissioner of Sagar Division. He was earlier serving as Commissioner of Industries and Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Small Industries Corporation.

Anubha Srivastava, a 2009-batch officer who was serving as Principal Revenue Commissioner with additional charge as ex-officio Secretary of the Revenue Department and Commissioner of Land Records and Settlement, has been posted as Secretary of the Revenue Department.

Another 2009-batch officer, Satendra Singh, will hold expanded responsibilities. He has been designated Secretary of both the Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Department and the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, while retaining his existing charges as Commissioner of Scheduled Caste Development, Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation, and Commissioner-cum-Director of Backward Classes and Minority Welfare.

Neha Marvya Singh, a 2011-batch officer, has moved from multiple tribal development assignments to become Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation. The post is equivalent to Additional Secretary.

Changes in Revenue, Women and Child Development

Nidhi Nivedita, a 2012-batch officer, has been shifted from the Women and Child Development Department, where she served as Commissioner-cum-Director with additional charges, to become Principal Revenue Commissioner and Commissioner of Land Records and Settlement in Gwalior.

Anurag Verma, also from the 2012 batch, will now serve solely as Managing Director of the State Civil Supplies Corporation. The post carries the rank equivalent to Additional Secretary.

Mayank Agrawal, a 2013-batch officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Viksit Bharat-Employment Guarantee Livelihood Mission (Rural), with additional charge as Mission Director of the Samagra Narmada Mission.

Sandeep GR, another 2013-batch officer, has moved from Labour Commissioner to Commissioner-cum-Director of Women and Child Development. He will also hold additional responsibilities as Mission Director of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Child Health and Nutrition Mission and Managing Director of the Women Finance and Development Corporation.

Avi Prasad, a 2014-batch officer, has been appointed Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Public Health Services Corporation Limited, with additional charge as Additional Secretary in the Public Health and Medical Education Department. He was earlier Chief Executive Officer of the Employment Guarantee Council.

Neha Jain, a 2018-batch officer, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer of Smart City Ujjain, with additional charge as Additional Commissioner of the Ujjain Municipal Corporation.

Additional Charges Assigned

The orders also assign additional responsibilities to several officers without transferring them from their existing positions.

Raghuraj MR, a 2004-batch officer and Secretary of the Labour Department, will additionally hold charge of the Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Department.

Tarun Rathi, a 2010-batch officer serving as Commissioner of Tribal Development, has been given additional charge of the Directorate of Tribal Area Development Schemes, Managing Director of MAPCET and Director of the Tribal Research and Development Institute.

Kumar Purushottam, a 2012-batch officer who is Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister and Managing Director of the Agriculture Marketing Board, will additionally oversee the Industries Department and the Small Industries Corporation.

Sheetala Patle, a 2014-batch officer and Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, has been given additional charge as Labour Commissioner.

Anisha Srivastava, a 2021-batch officer, will continue as Executive Director of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation’s Gwalior regional office while also serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Gwalior Development Authority.

The latest reshuffle follows an earlier round of postings involving younger IAS officers in August. The officers are expected to assume their new responsibilities without delay and complete formal handovers as per established procedures.
