TCS to Acquire Porsche’s IT Consulting Arm MHP for Rs 3,573 Crore

New Delhi, August 24, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Monday announced that it will acquire MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH, the management and IT consulting arm of German automaker Porsche, for an enterprise value of Rs 3,573.44 crore.

The transaction, which will be carried out through a TCS subsidiary acquiring 100 per cent of MHP’s shares, is expected to close within three to four months, subject to regulatory approvals.

MHP reported a turnover of around €742 million in calendar year 2025 and has approximately 4,500 employees. The company specialises in automotive and industrial consulting, with expertise spanning business transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), SAP, manufacturing digitalisation and connected mobility.

As part of a five-year strategic partnership with Porsche, TCS will establish a dedicated AI Mobility Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the German automaker. The centre will focus on deploying AI services across the mobility value chain and industrialising use cases involving key technologies in the sector.

According to TCS, the CoE will help transform AI concepts into secure and scalable solutions aimed at improving operational speed, resilience and competitiveness across Porsche’s product and value chain.

“MHP brings strong automotive and industrial consulting and implementation experience, with strengths in business transformation, AI, SAP, manufacturing digitalization, and connected mobility,” TCS said in a statement.

TCS CEO and Managing Director K Krithivasan said the partnership combines TCS’ capabilities in AI, engineering, technology and business transformation with MHP’s automotive consulting expertise.

“As AI, software, and data redefine the automotive industry, this partnership brings together TCS’ capabilities in AI, engineering, technology and business transformation with MHP’s strong automotive consulting expertise,” Krithivasan said.

He added that the two companies would work to industrialise AI at scale for Porsche and accelerate innovation across its value chain.

Porsche AG CEO Dr Michael Leiters said combining Porsche’s automotive expertise with TCS’ digital technology and AI capabilities would strengthen innovation, efficiency and competitiveness as mobility becomes increasingly driven by data and software.

TCS said MHP’s established record in complex automotive and industrial transformation programmes would complement its global scale and engineering capabilities.
