The Haryana Government on Friday ordered a major administrative reshuffle involving 24 officers, including 17 IAS and seven HCS officers, assigning new responsibilities across several key departments, boards, corporations and field postings.
The transfers and postings, ordered by the Governor of Haryana, will take effect immediately.
G. Anupama, IAS (HY:1991), presently Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes and Antyodaya (SEWA) Department, and Additional Chief Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, has been given the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Department. She will relieve Rajeev Ranjan, IAS (HY:1998), of this charge.
C.G. Rajini Kaanthan, IAS (HY:2004), presently Commissioner and Secretary, Finance Department; Secretary, Central Committee of Examinations; and Commissioner and Secretary, Mines & Geology Department, has been posted as Commissioner and Secretary, Finance Department; Secretary, Central Committee of Examinations; and Commissioner and Secretary, Medical Education & Research Department. He will relieve Dr Sumita Misra, IAS (HY:1990), of the Medical Education & Research charge.
Khetmalis Makarand Pandurang, IAS (HY:2007), presently holding several assignments including CEO, Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority, Director General, Mines & Geology, and responsibilities in Information, Public Relations, Languages & Culture, has been posted as Commissioner and Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages & Culture Department; Commissioner and Secretary, Mines & Geology Department; and CEO, Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority.
Dusmanta Kumar Behera, IAS (HY:2007), presently Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, has been posted as Commissioner and Secretary, Human Resources Department, and Commissioner and Secretary, General Administration Department.
Rajiv Rattan, IAS (HY:2008), presently Commissioner, Karnal Division, has been appointed Secretary, Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs Department and Director Training (Ex-Officio); Inquiry Officer, Vigilance, Haryana; and Director General, Supplies and Disposals, Haryana.
Pankaj, IAS (HY:2009), has been appointed Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission, against a vacant post. He has also been given the responsibility of Managing Director, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited, relieving Dr Aditya Dahiya, IAS (HY:2011), of the latter charge.
Prajhot Singh, IAS (HY:2010), presently Director General, Environment, and Secretary, Environment, Forests & Wildlife Department, has been appointed Transport Commissioner, Haryana, and Secretary, Transport Department, in addition to his existing duties.
Henna Sharma, IAS (HY:2010), presently Chief Settlement Commissioner and Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, has been appointed Commissioner, Karnal Division, replacing Rajiv Rattan.
Dr Aditya Dahiya, IAS (HY:2011), has been appointed Director, Information, Public Relations, Languages & Culture, Haryana, and Special Secretary to Government in the same department. He will also serve as Director, Art and Cultural Affairs; Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited; and Director, Department of Future.
Yashendra Singh, IAS (HY:2011), presently Director, Medical Education & Research and Special Secretary in the department, has been appointed Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, and Chief Executive Officer, Faridabad Smart City Limited.
Dhirendra Khadgata, IAS (HY:2012), presently Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, and CEO, Faridabad Smart City Limited, will replace Yashendra Singh as Director, Medical Education & Research and Special Secretary, Medical Education & Research Department. He has also been appointed Director, State Transport, Haryana.
Pradeep Dahiya, IAS (HY:2013), presently Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak (Designate), has been appointed Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Gurugram, and District Municipal Commissioner, Gurugram.
Pratima Chaudhary, IAS (HY:2013), presently Special Secretary, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department and Additional Controller, Civil Defence, Ambala, has been appointed Special Secretary, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department; Member Secretary, Haryana State Commission for Women; and Managing Director, Haryana Women Development Corporation Limited.
Sachin Gupta, IAS (HY:2018), Deputy Commissioner, Ambala, has been given additional charge as Additional Controller, Civil Defence, Ambala.
Renu Sogan, IAS (HY:2019), who was awaiting orders of posting, has been appointed Additional Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department.
Samwartak Singh Khangwal, IAS (HY:2019), presently Additional Secretary, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Department and Director of the same department, has been appointed Director, Mines & Geology, Haryana, and Additional Secretary, Mines & Geology Department, in addition to his existing duties.
Vivek Arya, IAS (HY:2021), presently Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Kurukshetra, has been appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Panchkula. He will additionally serve as CEO, Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, Panchkula, and CEO, Zila Parishad, Panchkula and DRDA, Panchkula.
Among the HCS officers, Yogesh Kumar Mehta, HCS (2004), Secretary, State Police Complaint Authority, Haryana, has been appointed Secretary, Haryana Traders Welfare Board, in addition to his existing duties.
Vijender Hooda, HCS (2013), Additional Director (Administration), AYUSH, Haryana, has been appointed CEO, Zila Parishad, Charkhi Dadri, and CEO, DRDA, Charkhi Dadri.
Virender Chaudhary, HCS (2013), presently CEO, Zila Parishad, Kurukshetra and CEO, DRDA, Kurukshetra, has been appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Kurukshetra, replacing Vivek Arya.
Pankaj Kumar, HCS (2014), Chief Executive Officer, Kurukshetra Development Board, and Additional Director, Urban Local Bodies, has been given additional charge as CEO, Zila Parishad, Kurukshetra and CEO, DRDA, Kurukshetra.
Suresh Kumar, HCS (2019), who was awaiting orders of posting, has been appointed City Magistrate, Charkhi Dadri, against a vacant post.
Monika, HCS (2023), Joint Director, Department of Future, has been appointed Joint Director (Administration and Mid-day Meals), Elementary Education, Haryana, in addition to her existing duties.
Manjeet Kumar, HCS (2023), Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Rohtak, has been given additional charge as Estate Officer, HSVP, Rohtak, and Land Acquisition Officer, Rohtak.
The government has also declared the post of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, equivalent in status and responsibilities to a Senior Scale IAS post under the applicable IAS Pay Rules.
Separately, the government said posting orders of Pradeep Ahlawat-II, HCS (2016), would be issued later. He has been directed to submit his joining report in the office of the Chief Secretary after relinquishing his present charge.
The transfer and posting order was issued by Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi on August 7, 2026.
