To take the Bhagwant Mann Government’s historic pro-people policies, public welfare schemes and the revolutionary work accomplished over the past four years under the visionary leadership of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann to every household, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a large-scale Lok Milni (public outreach) campaign across Punjab. The initiative aims to establish direct communication with the people and ensure that every citizen is informed about the government’s welfare initiatives and achievements.
As part of this extensive public outreach campaign, Cabinet Ministers and MLAs interacted directly with thousands of people in various constituencies, including Ferozepur, Phillaur, Bathinda, Nihal Singh Wala, Phagwara, Nabha and Khanna. They listened to the public’s grievances, noted their suggestions and issued strict directions to the concerned officials on the spot for the resolution of the problems.
Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond organised a Lok Milni programme at village Mehendipur in Khanna. A large number of people from the village and nearby areas attended the programme, where he interacted with the residents.
During the Lok Milni, Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond listened to the difficulties and problems faced by the villagers and residents of the surrounding areas. Detailed discussions were held on issues related to roads, water supply, electricity, healthcare services and other basic civic amenities. He also held extensive deliberations regarding planning and timelines for various development works.
Speaking on the occasion, Tarunpreet Singh Sond said, “The Bhagwant Singh Mann Government is the first government that gives priority to the problems of ordinary people and is fully committed to resolving them. Our government has fulfilled all of its promises.”
The villagers and local residents present on the occasion openly appreciated the Mann Government’s welfare initiatives, particularly 300 units of free electricity, free water, free healthcare, the Aam Aadmi Clinics, new employment opportunities for youth and reforms in the education sector. They thanked Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond, honoured him with flower garlands and expressed their commitment to re-elect the Bhagwant Mann Government.
Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO visited four different villages in his constituency, Wadala Johal, Talwandi Dogran, Wadali Dogran and Adda Tangra, under the Lok Milni programme and interacted with the people of his constituency.
Harbhajan Singh ETO listened to the problems, complaints and demands of the people in each village. He noted every issue raised by the residents and issued directions to officials of the concerned departments present on the spot for their immediate resolution. He instructed the officials to ensure the speedy redressal of people’s grievances and made it clear that no negligence would be tolerated.
Addressing the gatherings, he stated, “The Bhagwant Mann Government has laid the foundation for transparent governance in Punjab. Under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann, corruption has been eliminated from Punjab, and the benefits of government schemes are reaching people directly. The government’s primary focus is the welfare, development and prosperity of the people.”
On the occasion, people appreciated the Bhagwant Mann Government’s policies and also shared their suggestions. They put forward several important recommendations regarding agriculture, industry, education, healthcare and infrastructure development. Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO noted these suggestions and assured them that they would be considered.
Nabha MLA Gurdev Singh Dev Mann organised a corner meeting at village Wajidpur under the Lok Milni campaign, in which a large number of people participated. The entire atmosphere resonated with enthusiastic slogans of “Punjab Da Ikko Naara, Bhagwant Mann Dubara.”
Addressing the gathering, MLA Gurdev Singh Dev Mann said, “During the last four years, the Bhagwant Mann Government has carried out historic and revolutionary work. For the first time in Punjab’s history, a government has fulfilled all its election promises. We have delivered 300 units of free electricity, free water for every household, free treatment through Aam Aadmi Clinics, free medicines, free diagnostic tests, quality education in government schools, employment opportunities for youth and corruption-free governance.”
MLA Gurdev Singh Dev Mann further said, “Extensive development works have been carried out in my constituency, particularly in village Wajidpur. Roads have been repaired, new roads have been constructed, water supply has been improved, electricity-related issues have been resolved, and schools and health centres have been upgraded. We also have several upcoming development projects, and every issue raised by the people will be given priority.”
Making an important announcement on the occasion, MLA Gurdev Singh Dev Mann said, “Today, we are launching the distribution of ration kits to needy and poor beneficiary families under the Meri Rasoi scheme. The ration kits include flour, rice, pulses, cooking oil, sugar and other essential items.”
The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Bhagwant Mann Government for this initiative. They said the scheme would prove highly beneficial for poor families and would reduce their financial burden.
MLA Manjit Singh Bilaspur organised a large Lok Milni programme in Ward No. 10 of Nihal Singh Wala constituency. The primary objective of the programme was to take the people-centric initiatives of the Mann Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the public welfare policies of the Aam Aadmi Party to every household.
MLA Manjit Singh Bilaspur talked with residents of the ward and listened to their problems, demands and suggestions. He assured them that all their issues would be resolved at the earliest. MLA Manjit Singh Bilaspur said, “The Bhagwant Mann Government is a government of the common people, and every decision taken by the government is guided by the welfare of the people.”
Large-scale Lok Milni programmes were also organised by Aam Aadmi Party MLAs and leaders in the Ferozepur and Phagwara Assembly constituencies. These programmes also witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of people, who appreciated the work of the Mann Government. During the public interactions, people also shared several valuable suggestions for the development of their respective areas. The ministers and MLAs present noted all these suggestions and assured the people that they would be considered on a priority basis and addressed accordingly.
During the Lok Milni programme held at Bhullarai in Phagwara, Aam Aadmi Party Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal also interacted with the people.
During the interaction, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal shared information about the pro-people policies of the Aam Aadmi Party and the development works being undertaken by the Punjab Government.
Addressing the Lok Milni programmes, Aam Aadmi Party leaders said that Punjab has reached new milestones of development under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann. They said that the people of Punjab had voted for the Aam Aadmi Party with complete faith, and the government has lived up to that trust.
They said that the opposition has no issue to raise against the Mann Government because it has worked with transparency and honesty. They added that people are raising the slogan “Bhagwant Mann Dubara” because they have experienced the government’s work at the grassroots level.
The leaders said that their objective is to ensure that information about the government’s public welfare schemes reaches every household so that every citizen can fully benefit from them. Party workers will visit every home, interact with people and listen to their concerns.
