Today, Shiromani Akali Dal General Secretary Bhai Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad met with Singh Sahib Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh of Sri Akal Takht Sahib in Amritsar.
Speaking to the media, Bhai Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad praised the initiative taken by the Panj Singh Sahibs, led by Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh, to form watch committees for the protection and reverence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. He underscored the importance of such actions and highlighted the guidelines provided to Granthi Singhs for installing CCTV cameras and maintaining vigilance.
Expressing his gratitude, Bhai Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad personally thanked Singh Sahib Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh for his efforts in upholding the sanctity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
Furthermore, he lauded the decision to preserve the ancient color of Nishan Sahib, emphasizing its significance in preserving the unique identity of the Sikh community throughout history.
