State Gatka Championship at Garhdhiwala from 24 to 26 February : Grewal

Gatka Association Punjab under the aegis of National Gatka Association of India (NGAI) is organizing 9th Punjab State Gatka Championship (Boys) from 24th to 26th February at Khalsa College Garhdhiwala, Hoshiarpur district in which teams from all 22 districts would take part.

Disclosing this, President of National Gatka Association Harjeet Singh Grewal and Vice President Dr. Pritam Singh said the three day Gatka championship would be inaugurated by President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Bibi Jagir Kaur in the presence of Sant Baba Sewa Singh Rampur Kheda.

He added that the competitions on the second day would be inaugurated by Giani Raghbir Singh, Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib.

Chairman of Gatka Association Punjab Avtar Singh Patiala and President Harbir Singh Duggal said that on the concluding day Sant Baba Sewa Singh Rampur Kherawale would distribute the prizes to the winners.

He exhorted all the district associations to come with their boy’s teams to participate in this tournament on time.
