Congratulating the entire team, Paramjit Singh Sachdeva said the recognition was not the achievement of any individual but the result of collective effort and cooperation.
He particularly appreciated Sports Director Mandeep Brar for ensuring Punjab’s participation in all activities of the national office, Programme Manager Uma Shankar for her contribution and the support extended by SSA in registering the maximum number of athletes.
Sachdeva said Punjab had achieved an important milestone, but there was still much more to accomplish. He said an SPMC meeting would be held soon to chalk out the strategy for the future and ensure that Punjab delivers an even stronger performance next year.
