Actress Shriya Saran has praised her Drishyam: The Conclusion co-star Ajay Devgn, describing him as a “very intense actor” and highlighting his powerful screen presence and distinctive approach to performance.
Speaking about her experience of working with Devgn, Shriya said the actor often communicates emotions through his eyes, which she described as particularly powerful.
“Ajay works with his eyes. His eyes are very powerful. And he has a different kind of dialogue delivery. He is a very intense actor,” she said.
Shriya also praised Devgn’s dedication and disciplined approach to his craft, saying he works extremely hard and often does not require multiple takes.
“He is very hardworking. He doesn’t need any other take. He works very hard,” she added.
The actress also spoke about director Abhishek Pathak’s commitment to the Drishyam franchise. She said Pathak spends considerable time developing the script and carefully working through its twists and turns before bringing the story to the screen.
Reflecting on her character Nandini, the wife of Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar, Shriya said that while she understood the character well, developments in the latest instalment still surprised her.
“I know the character. I know who Nandini is. But I didn’t think that this could happen,” she said.
Shriya further praised Pathak for his close collaboration with the writers and his efforts to understand and develop the story, calling the process “commendable”.
