Separatist elements emboldened by AAP’s inaction, Jakhar dares Bhagwant Mann to explain

Jalandhar, September 30, 2022 (Yes Punjab News)
Underlining the alarming rise in cessasionist voices raising their head in Punjab ever since AAP came to power, the senior BJP leader Sunil Jakhar on Friday asked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to come clean on reasons behind this heightened anti-state activity seeking to disrupt peace and stability of the state.

It was not a mere coincidence that Kejriwal had stayed at a separatist’s house during run up to the 2017 polls, Jakhar said adding that Punjabis had then seen through their deisgns and had rejected AAP. Those same anti-Punjab elements, with AAP coming to power, have now have started to foment trouble with their inciting statements, now here in Punjab

Underlining the threat entalied in lethargic response to those seeking to divide and push Punjab back into dark days, the former Lok Sabha MP said credit for encouraging these voices which were until now only heard in New York and London and are now daily occurence in Punjab goes to inefficiency and ineptness of Aap government.

There were far too many incidents of cessanist voices raring their head in our state since AAP has come to power, Jakhar said adding that Punjab needs peace and stability and it cant afford to relive dark days again.

Lashing out at AAP during his speech at ‘People’s Vidhan Sabha’ organised by BJP here, Jakhar said the timing of daylight slaining of singer Moosewala, to gruemsome murders of Kabaadi players to an overall dismal scenario of law and order under this government’s watch portends ill for a peace loving state and its citizens.

Denouncing call by certain politicos to persuade gangsters in joining hands with them coming into the mainstream , Jakhar warned that those who have taken law into their hands must be dealt sternly and no effort shall be made to make them heroes in minds of our youth.

Rather, their properties should be confiscated and an example be set before society, Jakhar said urging the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure strictest action by central agencies against any gangster.

Our youth is our treasure and all efforts must be made to dissuade them in folllwing the footsteps of these gangsters, Jakhar added.
