The two-wheeler rally, all women drivers crossed BMC Chowk and Guru Nanak Mission Chowk and ended at Nakodar Chowk.
The pillion riders carried out road safety placards into their hands and sensitized the commuters about the traffic norms with a purpose to put a check on the road accidents. She exhorted upon the drivers to wear helmets and seat belts as a safety measure and follow traffic rules strictly.
RTA secretary Dr Nayan Jassal expressed hope that the rally and the other events being organized as part of the Road Safety Week would help in making people more aware about the road safety and the vital roles they can play in preventing accidents.
