Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has urged Giani Harpreet Singh Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib to sack Sarna brothers from community after summoning them at Sri Akal Takht Sahib.for their Anti-Panthic activities and indulging in sale of drugs. It also urged Singh Sahib to act against SGPC for not obeying orders for stopping telecast of Gurbani on PTC Channel and not starting its own channel.
Addressing a press conference here after submitting memorandum to Giani Harpreet Singh, DSGMC General Secretary Mr. Jagdip Singh Kahlon, other office bearers and members of the DSGMC said that they have brought into the notice of Jathedar Akal Takht Sahib how SGPC was misusing money donated by sangat for golaks for promotion of Sarna brothers in Delhi.
These Sarna brothers who are known for their anti panthic activities, were indulging in sale of liquor and other drugs which is banned according to Sikh traditions. They said that recently ED and CBI had summoned family of Sarna brothers and now action is being taken against them after it was surfaced that their firms were involved in liquor scam of Delhi.
They said that Sarna brothers have always worked against Panth in matter of 1984 anti sikh genocide and have always honoured guilty including Sajjan Kumar, Jagdish Tytler, Kamal Nath and others. They had also worked for Sajjan Kumar when he was denied ticket due to his role in 1984 sikh carnage.
They are still in contact with the guilty and always oppose move of the DSGMC to ensure punishment for guilty of 1984 anti sikh genocide. They said that on one hand DSGMC was working to ensure punishment for the guilty of this genocide and on the other Sarna brothers were working against the community and the panth.
They also disclosed to Jathedar Sahib that Sarna brothers had opposed candidature of Bibi Parmjit Kaur who is from family of 1984 sikh genocide and worked to ensure her defeat in recently held MCD elections which also proves how they work against panth and community.
They also brought to the notice of Giani Harpreet Singh ji that Akali Dal President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal used to call Parmjit Sarna a big trader of liquor and he had personally led dharnas against his factory. Now SGPC is spending crores of rupees for course correction and improving image of Sarna brothers.
They urged Jathedar to direct SGPC to stop from spending this money of sangat for promotion of Sarna brothers in Delhi. They also urged him to direct SGPC to ensure that gurbani telecast on PTC is stopped immediately and SGPC should launch its own channel without any delay for telecast of gurbani. They urged Jathedar sahib to summon Sarna brothers at Akal Takht Sahib and expel them from the panth.
DSGMC Senior Vice President Harwinder Singh KP, Joint Secretary Jasmain Singh Noni and many other DSGMC members and leaders were also present on the occasion.
