Reliance Jio today announced that it has become the first and only operator to cover Punjab’s each and every District Headquarter with its True 5G services. Jio launched its True 5G services in Punjab’s 26 more cities today. With this, Jio True 5G services are now live in 96 cities of Punjab including Chandigarh tricity, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patiala, Bathinda etc as well as all the cities on the Delhi – Amritsar National Highway (NH).
Jio users in all these cities have been invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, to experience Unlimited Data at up to 1 Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost. Jio’s True-5G network covers all important localities, tourist spots, educational and coaching institutes, malls & markets, residential areas, hospitals, government buildings, other commercial establishments like hotels and restaurants, roads and highways etc. in all these towns. Jio is the only operator which is rolling out its 5G services at a rapid pace across Punjab to strengthen its True 5G coverage in the state and provide transformational benefits of technology to Jio users.

Jio plans to launch its True 5G services in every town, taluka of India by the end of December 2023.
