Kamaldeep Singh Saini, a Senior leader of Congress party and the Chairman of Punjab State Cooperative Agricultural Development Bank said that Lathi charge on farmers in Delhi on Republic Day 26 January and The incident at the Red Fort by some chaotic mischievous elements is the most unfortunate incident in the history of the country.

While Reacting, Saini said that it was unfortunate that in the world’s largest democracy, on the day of Republic Day, the tractor march lead by farmers on the Roads of Delhi led to the sabotage of tractors and vandalism on farmers by the Delhi Police. Also at the same time, the events of the Red Fort have embarrassed the country in front of the whole world and has also caused great harm to the peaceful farmers movement.

He said that it appears that the Delhi Police deliberately created a confused situation about the route plans.Barricading was also deliberately kept soft so that the farmers could break the barricades and the police could use force on the farmers. He alleged that the deliberate incitement of farmers by the police was the result of these violent clashes.

He Further targeted the Modi government and said that if the Modi government wanted it, it could have resolved the issue in time. The intention and stubbornness of the BJP government alone is responsible for today’s events. During the 9 rounds of talks, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar failed to reach any conclusion with the farmers.

Saini said that it is a shame for the Delhi Police, which works under the Modi government, that on January 26, there was a ruckus on the Roads of Delhi as well as inside the Red Fort by some chaotic miscreants.He strongly condemned the incident in the Red Fort and said that the any kind of insult to the tricolor flag by the mischievous elements will not be tolerated.
