Punjab IPS S Boopathi has been empanelled to the rank of Inspetor General (IG) or the equivalent at the Centre.
The 2007 batch IPS officer’s name figures in the list of 65 IPS officers cleared/approved by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
The list of 65 officers was released by Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
