The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of 65 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers for holding the post of Inspector General (IG) or equivalent at the Centre.
The List includes officers of batches ranging from 2003 to 2007.
IPS S Boopathi (2007) of Punjab Cadre is the lone officer from Punjab among the officers empanelled.
