Punjab govt looting students in name of Guru Nanak Dev: Aman Arora writes to Capt Amarinder

Chandigarh, Sept 1, 2019 (Yes Punjab News)
AAP MLA from Sunam, Aman Arora today shot off a letter to CM Capt Amrinder Singh, ridiculing a decision of Punjab School Education Board for looting students of the State who want to reappear for examination to 10th and 12th Board exams since 2004.

Arora said, that while normally re-examination /compartment fee of the Board is between Rs1200 to 1500, but this time , PSEB has fixed Rs 15000/ as re-examination fee, last date for which is 4th September, and unfortunately and ridiculously has attributed this decision of increasing the fee by more than 10 times ,as a ‘Golden Chance’ solely dedicated to the 550th Birth Centenary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, which amounts to disrespecting the Guru.

Arora urged the CM, that if Govt really wants to pay tribute to Guru Nanak Dev ji, then it should immediately roll back it’s anti-student decision and should not charge students more than Rs 550 as re-examination fee.
