The order of the Government of Punjab to upgrade government schools for the development of education sector is going on continuously.
18 lakh 40 thousand rupees has been released by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for the construction of the building of the Government Senior Secondary School in the village of Dhangrali of Shri Chamkaur Sahib Vidhansabha Constituency
The foundation stone of the construction work was laid by Cabinet Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and MP Manish Tiwari.
During this, the cabinet minister Channi said that the newly built building of this school named after the martyr Nayab Subedar Avtar Singh of Kargil will benefit not only the village of Dhangrali, but also the children of many nearby villages.
He said that continuous work is going on by the Punjab Government to raise the standard of education. The school building will be constructed with a grant of Rs 18 lakh 40 thousand issued by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
He said that the Punjab government is committed to the all-round development of the state and the Chief Minister has assured to provide employment to every youth of the state.
Member of Parliament Manish Tiwari said that improvement in education is the need of the hour and the Government of Punjab has upgraded government schools to smart schools and brought them at par with private schools.
He said that children are the future of the country and good education will make them a good citizen. Similarly, technical education is also being provided to the youth so that their skills can be enhanced and they can get good employment.
During this time apart from others, Rajinder singh Bath Pvt secy CM Punjab , Vijay Sharma Tinku Chairrman Planning Board Mohali, Pawan Dewan Chairman Punjab Large Industrial Development Board, Harpreet Singh Bunty , Manvir Singh Bath, Sarpanch Gurpreet Singh Bath were also present.
