Punjab Congress Spokesperson Amandeep Singh ‘Gora’ Gill today joined the Punjab Lok Congress along with several supporters, who included sarpanches and panches from the Bholath assembly segment.

Among those who joined the PLC along with Gill today, are four sitting sarpanches from Bholath. They include Nirmal Singh, Sarpanch village Ramgarh, Master Balkar Singh, Sarpanch village Mand Kulla, Gurbhej Singh, Sarpanch village Pandori Ariyan, Kulwant Singh, Sarpanch village Mand Talwandi Kukka and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Gill said, there was a lot of resentment among the Congress workers the way the party treated Capt Amarinder Singh. He said, the party workers and even leaders and legislators were deeply disturbed and upset over the internal fighting within the party.

He said, given the internal factionalism within the party, it may not win even thirty seats in the coming Vidhan Sabha elections. He said, people of Punjab saw only hope in Capt Amarinder Singh and wanted him to become the Chief Minister once again.
