To efficiently deliver social and economic benefits to all its citizens, Punjab government today organised 2-days Training workshop for its officers at Indian School of Business, Mohali. The workshop on develop capacity building within Punjab Government Departments to apply behavioural insights to state priorities was organised by Planning department of Punjab.
Inaugurating the event, The Punjab Chief Secretary Mr. Karan Avtar Singh said that agriculture, health, Law and Order etc. are main priority areas for the state and the training programme can play a pivotal role to change the behaviour towards social responsibilities and also be helpful to implement public welfare schemes more effectively. During the workshop experts would address various sessions.
Prominent among others presented in the workshop included Principal Secretary Planning Mr. Jaspal Singh, Special Secretary Planning Mr Daljit Singh Mangat, Director Planning Mr. Sumit Chopra and Centre for Experimental Social Sciences of Nuffield College, Oxford- Flame University, Lavale Campus Pune Co-Director Dr. Pavan Mamidi.
