PUDA, other Development Authorities earn Rs.44.08 Crore from E-Auction

From the e-auction of properties including IT industrial plots, SCOs, booths, residential plots etc. PUDA & other Development Authorities of Punjab got revenue amounting to Rs. 44.08 crore.

While e-auction of properties offered by GMADA, BDA, GLADA, JDA and ADA had concluded on Tuesday, auction of properties falling under the jurisdiction of Patiala Development Authority (PDA) came to an end today. The e-auction had started on August 01, 2019.

Greater Mohali Area Development Authority successfully auctioned 12 properties which included 2 IT industrial plots situated in IT City, SAS Nagar near the Mohali International Airport and SCOs, booths and residential plots situated in different sectors of SAS Nagar. These properties were auctioned by GMADA for more than Rs. 22 crore.

PUDA received total bids amounting to Rs. 8.56 crore from the auction of OUVGL properties offered across the state. While GLADA, auctioned properties worth Rs. 5.30 crore, BDA auctioned properties of the value of Rs. 97.64 lacs. Similarly, ADA and JDA earned Rs. 1.98 crore & Rs. 52.26 lacs respectively in the e-auction.

PDA was able to auction properties worth Rs. 4.74 crore. Properties auctioned are situated in Ludhiana, Bathinda, Patiala, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Malout, Gurdaspur and Batala. Allottees would be handed over the possession of the sites on payment of 25% of the auction amount.

This was the 14th e-auction conducted by the Development Authorities. The successful holding of e-auctions has helped Development Authorities to generate more than Rs. 2000 crore of revenue in the e-auctions conducted thus far.
