Prince Khullar condemns AAP’s decision to provide Oximeters in Punjab

Chandigarh, September 5, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)

Punjab Youth Development Board Senior Vice Chairman Prince Khullar here on Saturday condemned the decision taken by Aam Adami Party to provide thousands of oximeters in the towns and villages of Punjab.

While giving the details, Khullar said that 10,000 Pulse Oximeters had already been procured and distributed, a tender had also been placed for another 50,000 to further support the frontline health workers, home isolation patients etc. in the state. There was no dearth of equipment in Punjab, Punjab is in safe hands and was fully prepared to handle the crisis.

Further criticising AAP and appreciating Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, he further said that the CM has rightly exposed the AAP that there was no dearth of equipment in Punjab and it was Delhi which seemed to be perpetually in need of help from others, reminding AAP of how the Union Home and Health Ministers had to personally and directly step in to micro manage the Covid crisis in the national capital.

Hitting out at the AAP further, he said that we don’t need your oximeters. We just need you to control your workers in Punjab as advised by the CM. During this time, we all must come together in fighting with this COVID-19 pandemic and not looking for any political opportunities, he added.

He said that AAP leadership in Delhi as well as in Punjab must introspect while making any announcements about COVID management in Punjab. There are a number of things that AAP can learn from Punjab. There is urgent need to prevent the misinformation spread by AAP leaders. Taking strong note of misinformation spread by AAP, the CM has yesterday rightly exposed the AAP propaganda of spreading misinformation through videos.

Quoting the date shared by the CM, Khullar further said that 4500+ deaths in the national capital as against Punjab’s 1690, with deaths per million for the two at 268.6 and 60.9 respectively.

The pathetic situation in Delhi is further evident in its case load (6th in the country as against Punjab’s 17th position), and 14151 beds against 21431 in Punjab, he further said. It’s high time that AAP leadership must follow the footsteps of Capt Amarinder Singh to improve COVID situation in Delhi.
