The people of the country will once again get to hear the strong voice of Aam Aadmi Party youth leader and Rajya Sabha member from Punjab Raghav Chadha in the Parliament. After 115 days, his suspension was canceled by bringing a resolution in Parliament on Monday. After the suspension was revoked, Raghav Chadha reached Parliament and tweeted that I paid my tribute to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the Parliament premises today.
Bapu’s life teaches us that no matter how difficult the challenge is, truth always wins. He said that on August 11, 2023, I was suspended from Parliament. To get my suspension cancelled, I had to approach the Supreme Court and after the intervention of the court, my suspension had ended. For this, MP Raghav Chadha has thanked the Supreme Court and the people of the country.
After the suspension from Parliament was revoked, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha issued a statement saying that on August 11, 2023, I was suspended from the Indian Parliament (Rajya Sabha). To get my suspension ended and to go inside the House again and raise the voice of the common people of the country, I had to knock on the doors of the Supreme Court, the temple of justice.
The Supreme Court took cognizance of my petition and intervened in it. My suspension has ended thanks to the intervention of the Supreme Court. Today my suspension has been revoked by bringing a resolution in the Parliament.
MP Raghav Chadha said that I was kept suspended for about 115 days and during these 115 days, I could not go inside the Parliament and raise the voice of the common people of the country, could not ask the question to the government and the people of the country could not ask questions to the government through me. I am happy that even after 115 days, my suspension has ended today. For this, I thank the Supreme Court and the Chairperson of Rajya Sabha very much.
MP Raghav Chadha said that during my 115 days of suspension, I received a lot of blessings and love from the people of the country. People gave me a lot of love, blessings by calling, emailing and sending me messages, giving me the courage to stand firm, fight and take on these people. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the love and blessings. In the end I want to appeal and say, ‘Dua karo ki salamat rahe himmat hamari, yeh ek chirag kayi aandhiyon par bhari hai.’
