In a heartfelt celebration that combined festive cheer with environmental responsibility, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, organized a Diwali event focused on community engagement and sustainability.
Spearheaded by Dr. Meenu and Dr. Swati, the NSS team carried out a tree plantation drive at the Red Cross Bal Bhawan Dispensary in Bathinda, bringing a message of green consciousness to the forefront.
As part of the celebration, NSS volunteers visited the Bamboo School located in Rose Garden, where they spent meaningful time with the children. The day was filled with laughter, sweets, and engaging storytelling, creating a festive atmosphere that brought smiles to the children’s faces. Volunteers shared the joy of Diwali through activities that promoted not only cultural values but also a spirit of togetherness and compassion.
