Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, proudly announces that Dr. Yadwinder Pal Sharma, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been conferred the prestigious Rajarambapu Patil National Award for Promising Engineering Teacher – 2025.
The honour was presented during the 55th Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) National Annual Faculty Convention, held recently at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College, Puducherry.
The award was bestowed by Sh. Satya Pal Singh, former Union Minister of Higher Education, Water Resources & River Development, along with Prof. P. Prakash Babu, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Pondicherry.
This distinguished national recognition highlights Dr. Sharma’s exceptional contributions to engineering education, particularly his innovative teaching methodologies, research-driven academic initiatives, and dedication to improving student learning outcomes.
Extending their congratulations, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar, Registrar of MRSPTU, expressed immense pride in Dr. Sharma’s achievement.
